The COVID-19 pandemic has continued to have a massive impact on low-income all over the world since the beginning of the pandemic in January 2020. Resulting in more than 580,000 people falling under the B40 category* (B40 referrers to Bottom 40% household income, from the population in Malaysia).

 

We, as Benih Amal, have created this project to feed 3,000 families In Malaysia during this Ramadan, which is approximately 15,000 people in total, including seniors, ladies, young people, and children. With only RM30/day can provide an Iftar & Suhur meal for a family.

 

As the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:

 

“The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” 

 

(Al-Tirmidhi)

 

This project will be mainly allocated to less fortunate families in Selangor, Kelantan, Terengganu, and Kuala Lumpur. The distribution will be made with high consideration to all SOPs issued by the government and ministry of health (MOH) with all precaution measures well taken.

 

As Ramadan is only 33 days away, now is the time to give all support and care that’s possible to these unfortunate families now to get it performed in this Ramadan Insha’Allah.
