Ramadan is a time of reflection, compassion, and giving. For many families in Gaza, the holy month is also a time of struggle, with widespread poverty and limited access to basic necessities.

That's why we're launching a Ramadan Food Basket campaign to help those in need in Gaza. Our goal is to distribute food baskets filled with essential items, such as rice, flour, sugar, cooking oil, and canned goods, to families who are struggling to make ends meet.

Your support can make a real difference in the lives of people in Gaza. By making a donation, you'll be providing families with the resources they need to observe Ramadan with dignity and to break their fast with nutritious food.

Each food basket costs RM100 that will contain the following household products:

1.   Cooking Oil (1 X 2.5kg)

2. Rice   (2 X 2.5kg)

3.   Sugar (4 X 4kg)

4. Lima   Bean (2 X 700g)

5.   Canned Beef (3 X 750g)

6.   Lentil (2 X 500g)

7.   Cheese (1 X 500g)

8. Tea   (1 X 500g)

Food basket cost is : RM 150

This kind gesture of support will spread smiles for 500 families in Gaza.  A small contribution goes a long way.

عَنْ ابْن عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ

اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أجْوَدَ النَّاسِ

بِالخَيْرِ، وَكَانَ أجْوَدُ مَا يَكُونُ فِي رَمَضَانَ، حِينَ يَلْقَاهُ

جِبْرِيلُ، وَكَانَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلام يَلْقَاهُ كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ فِي

رَمَضَانَ حَتَّى يَنْسَلِخَ، يَعْرِضُ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم

القُرْآنَ: فَإِذَا لَقِيَهُ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلام، كَانَ أجْوَدَ

بِالخَيْرِ مِنَ الرِّيحِ المُرْسَلَةِ

Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah Be Pleased With Them) Reported:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was the most generous of the men; and he was the most generous during the month of Ramadan when Jibril visited him every night and recited the Qur'an to him. During this period, the generosity of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) waxed faster than the rain bearing wind.

*Benih Amal are the organizers of this campaign and they will be assisting to collect and allocate funds into preparing 500 food baskets for 500 families in Gaza.
