Campaign background:

The struggles of refugee students who hopes to pursue a post-secondary education, something we see as a right everywhere else in the world, are numerous. The financial struggle, as you will read in the testimonies below, is one of these many struggles. Fortunately for you and the students, you can help eliminate just one of these struggles and ease the path for the students to utilize their resilience, passion, and hard work to pursue a post-secondary education.

Because of the COVID19 pandemic, the students’ struggles are amplified in both: ways that are unique and ways that are like what the rest of the world is experiencing. However, the pandemic has also come in the way of our fundraising activities, limiting our ability to continuously support our bright, underprivileged refugee students. Therefore, we need your help & support for this campaign.

The solution:

We believe the ideal solution for the stated problem is to acquire students waqaf for furnish them according to education needs. This will accommodate many students on the waiting list of refugee students.

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه و سلم قَالَ: "مَنْ نَفَّسَ عَنْ مُؤْمِنٍ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ الدُّنْيَا نَفَّسَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَمَنْ يَسَّرَ عَلَى مُعْسِرٍ، يَسَّرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، وَمَنْ سَتَرَ مُسْلِما سَتَرَهُ اللهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ، وَاَللَّهُ فِي عَوْنِ الْعَبْدِ مَا كَانَ الْعَبْدُ فِي عَوْنِ أَخِيهِ"

Whoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allah will remove from him one of the griefs of the Day of Resurrection. And whoever alleviates the need of a needy person, Allah will alleviate his needs in this world and the Hereafter. Whoever shields [or hides the misdeeds of] a Muslim, Allah will shield him in this world and the Hereafter. And Allah will aid His slave so long as he aids his brother.
