Because of the recent floods, which greatly affected the homes in poor neighborhoods, many homes were destroyed, and their owners are unable to rebuild and re-equip them. Therefore, the Banih Amal organization aims to collect donations to equip 5 houses in the first phase, and the equipment includes the following:

  3. Food basket for a month (RM 170) including:
    1. Cooking Oil (1 X 2.5kg)

Terengganu and Kelantan recorded an increase in flood victims with evacuees numbering slightly over 55,000 as of this morning. In other states, namely Pahang, Johor and Perak, the numbers remained the same since last night.

In TERENGGANU, the number of flood victims increased sharply to 37,792, compared with 26,494 people last night, and all of them were housed in 310 relief centres in eight districts, according to the state disaster management committee secretariat.

Kemaman was the worst-affected district with 12,000 victims, followed by Besut (8,228), Hulu Terengganu (6,691), Setiu (3,988), Dungun (2,484), Kuala Nerus (1,521), Kuala Terengganu (1,900), and Marang (980).

Heavy rain has been reported in many areas in Terengganu this morning.

 

In KELANTAN, the official portal reported that the number of evacuees rose to 17,326 people this morning, compared with 14,359 people last night.
